Palmetto RER is a joint venture between Energy City, LLC and Chinook Energy, LLC. These two companies have joined forces to solve our backyard energy challenges and combat local waste problems by putting to work Chinook Energy’s proven and low-temp gasification process. Palmetto RER will put South Carolina and Charleston on the map as the new energy hub.

The RODECS@, a ten-year old, proven technology, converts household garbage into a combustible gas to be used to generate clean electricity. This non-incineration system also recovers and cleans any metals or glass, recycling nearly 100% of any waste stream with a negative carbon footprint and no hazardous emissions.
